Fitness Tip of the Week:
What to do to get fit and stay fit – Many people think to themselves “what’s the best way for me to get fit” and then of course you need to maintain it.
The best option, especially to begin with, is to find something physically active that you enjoy and start it being a regular occurrence.
For some people that might be going for a run along the beach in the morning, for some it might be long bike rides, for some it might be going to the gym and picking their favourite exercises, for others it might be playing their favourite sport.
Not everybody likes everything, if you hate running and you think you have to run to get fit then it isn’t going to last long when you do try.
Once you start something you enjoy and then continue that activity, eventually you may try other activities for fun and to see if you can challenge yourself!
